RG Kar Hospital impasse: Junior doctors protest as tents, fans removed allegedly under ‘External Pressure’

Junior doctors in West Bengal continued their strike after a second round of talks with government officials failed. The discussions, held on Wednesday night, ended without any agreement because the government did not provide written minutes of the meeting. The doctors, protesting outside the health department's headquarters, have been demanding safer working conditions and formal assurance from the state.

The strike began following the alleged rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College.
